Wonderful Autumn

The leaves are falling, the air is brisk and the fall apples are ripening. Sounds wonderful to me!

Currently at Garside's Fruit Farm we have a good selection of apples available.

- Bramley Apples: Crisp, tart, hard large apple. The absolute best apple to bake with. This apple will also store well as long as kept in a cool, dry location.
- Prima Apples: Semi-sweet, crisp beautiful red apple. A great eating apple and perfect for making applesauce and other baking.
- Boskoop Apples: Crisp, semi-sweet rough skin apple. Great for eating or baking. This apple stores very well. If kept in a cool dry location in a cardboard or wooden box, will keep well into the New Year, and will even become sweeter tasting.
- King Apples: A crisp semi-sweet apple, delicious for eating or baking with.

The apples are available for $1.25/lb, except the Primas that are only $1.00/lb.

Coming soon: Spartan Apples, Jonagold Apples, Gloster Apples and Northern Spy Apples. We will also take orders for our Anjou Pears.

Also available right now are our Free Range Roating Chickens. These are available for $3.50/lb. These delicious chickens are raised with access to outside pasture, fed an exceptional quality locally produced grain, and were given no hormones or antibiotics.

If you would like to place an order for any of our products listed, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone at 604.556.4273 or email us at garsidesfruitfarm@shaw.ca anytime. We will be glad to put your order together for you.

Or you are welcome to stop by the farm and pickout what you would like anytime, we are open 7 days a week from 9 am to dusk. The fruit is setout in the garage as a self serve station, with a scale and a payment drop box. If someone is home they will be happy to assist you.
