A little history about the apple:

Developed in 1856 in Holland, this apple has a russeted skin, and its flavor is described as tender, juicy and crisp. This is a winter apple, and if kept in proper conditions can last until Easter. These apples will also ripen and sweeten up over time after being picked.

Great all around apple for eating or baking with!

Sold Out!

We are sold out of Gravenstein Apples and Crab Apples now.

We now have Prima Apples available. These are a delicious apple, a little tart with a crisp firm flesh. This apple is a great eating and baking apple. If you like your apples a little sweeter just pick the most red ones as they are the sweetest. These apples will keep for a week or more on the counter, and longer if kept in the fridge.

Coming soon, Bramley and Jonagold.

Abbotsford Farm and Country Market

Garside's Fruit Farm will be attending the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market starting September 20th, or possibly even September 13th. If you have never stopped by the market there is quite a variety of local growers, food producers and artisans to check out. We normally would be at the market far earliers, but the late arrival of summer has caused the fruit to be abnormally late.

The market runs every Saturday in downtown Abbotsford in the United Church's parking lot.

Come see us there soon!
* Even during the market times we will still be taking orders for fruit directly off the farm for pickup.*
